Job summary

Room To Read is seeking an Associate, People Operations in Delhi to independently manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle. You will lead hiring through the HRMS module, ensure timely, compliant processes, and collaborate with line managers to refresh position descriptions.

The role requires a Master's degree with 5+ years in Talent Acquisition, strong English communication, and the ability to work with diverse teams while maintaining turnaround targets and budget controls.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities:

• The Associate, People Operations would be primarily responsible for independently managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle.
• They would be leading the recruitment through recruiting module of HRMS.
• They must be innovative, rational and should be able to draw suggestions and work on demarcated guidelines within the specified Turnaround Time.
• Update the position descriptions in the organization according to the need in consultation with the respective line managers.
• Operate within the People Operations Budget and monitor spending.
• Recommend standard recruiting and placement practices and procedures consistent with Global office/Regional Office guidance.
• Recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish positive employee relationships and employee-employer relationships.
• Ensure that the organizations and the employees interests are protected, and the policies/ practices of the organization are legally compliant.
• Investigate complaints and recommend appropriate action.
• Review employee appeals through compliant procedure.
• Provide stewardship of the organization culture and facilitate its institutionalization.

Preferred candidate profile

• Master's degree with minimum of five years of professional experience in Talent Acquisition position.
• General knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel administration
• Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, stakeholder coordination, and offer management.
• Generally, assists with Country Office wide projects as assigned by the Senior Officer, People Operations.
• Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written) and capability to relate and interact with multicultural teams and represent the organization in professional forums.
