Job summary

ALTEN India is seeking an IT support professional responsible for user onboarding/offboarding, OS/software installation, and policy-compliant IT operations in Bengaluru. The candidate will manage L1/L2 tickets, coordinate with vendors for hardware/software issues, and ensure assets and access permissions are aligned with security and SLA requirements.

The role requires familiarity with SCCM, Intune, and Endpoint tools, plus adherence to ITIL-based processes.

Responsibilities

• User onboarding and offboarding management
• OS installation via SCCM and software installations
• Follow system hardening and compliance checklists
• Handle L1 & L2 support tickets within SLA
• Configure customer-specific tools and access permissions
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with vendors as needed
• Hardware and software upgrades as required
• User data backup and restoration
• Periodic audits of hardware and software assets
• Network printer installation and troubleshooting
• Asset tracking, inventory and lifecycle management
• ITSM ticket management per ITIL standards
• Troubleshoot SCCM, Intune, Endpoint and patch compliance issues
• Install and maintain operating systems, hardware and software
• Adhere to IT & information security policies
• Basic IT software/hardware troubleshooting
• Learn and support new tools/technologies
• Resolve user issues within agreed SLA timelines
• Maintain accurate asset inventory records
