Job summary

Reliance Power in Mumbai is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to optimize end-user performance and ensure high availability of IT systems across sites.

You will manage end-to-end IT service delivery, resolve incidents per SLAs, and provide support for hardware, software, OS, and enterprise applications. The role includes administering Windows and Linux servers, VMware, AD, DNS/DHCP, and asset lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Experience managing IT infrastructure with high-availability goals.
• Experience with Windows/Linux servers and virtualization.
• Familiarity with IT security and SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize end-user system performance and ensure high availability of IT infrastructure with minimal downtime.
• Take proactive measures to prevent unplanned system failures, outages, and service disruptions.
• Manage end-to-end IT service delivery, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests in line with business requirements and agreed service levels (SLAs).
• Provide technical support to corporate and site users for hardware, software, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
• Administer and maintain Windows & Linux servers, VMware virtualization environment, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and File & Print Services.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, inventory, maintenance, and disposal.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, implement preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with IT security and operational standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, site teams, OEMs, and IT service providers to ensure seamless IT operations and effective issue resolution.
• Deliver high-quality IT services that meet business needs and enhance end-user satisfaction through responsive and reliable support.
• Provide technical guidance and training to site IT engineers and support teams as required.
• Continuously enhance technical expertise by participating in relevant training programs, certifications, and industry seminars, while promoting knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices across the IT function.
