Job summary

You will plan transport from suppliers, monitor stock levels, implement scrap disposal via Eauctions, and ensure compliance with HSE norms across stores operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores and inventory management within manufacturing or corporate settings.
• Ability to implement and monitor SOPs for inbound, storage and dispatch.
• Strong understanding of stock control, minimum/maximum levels and FIFO where applicable.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Undertake stores and inventory management matching business requirement and adhering to statutory, Quality certification compliances.
• Responsibility for verification of incoming and outgoing materials used by contractors as well as gate pass management for incoming and outgoing materials sent for job work.
• Manage inbound transport management for materials brought from supplier premises, ports, and transporter godown.

Planning

• Planning vehicle arrangement for transporting materials from suppliers and transporter godown
• Planning for additional arrangement for storage during monsoon
• Inventory control
• Conducting Eauctions for Scrap

Operational Excellence

• Implementing Sops and delegation of authority for inbound logistic, receipt, issue, inspection, storage, inventory and scrap management
• Closely monitoring inventory levels and plan for disposal of nonmoving inventory and obsolete inventory after review
• Disposal of scrap through Eauctions for maximizing Revenue
• Reviewing the stock level of Min Max items levels
• Monitoring Gate pass (RGP and NRGP) management system to ensure all outgoing materials issued for job work are returned within specified time.

Budgetary Control

• Implementing accurate stores accounting and reconciliation of materials
• Influencing user departments to use nonmoving and slowmoving user indented inventory with a structured consumption plan in order to minimize blockage of working capital in stock and escalating deviations.
• Implementing disposal of nonmoving and obsolete inventory in consultation with the various user department to generate revenue.
• Implementing timely disposal of scrap and saleable waste material to generate revenue.

Compliance

• Responsibility of safe storage and disposal of saleable hazardous waste and Ewaste
• Ensuring compliance with security, Health, Safety and environmental norms and integrated management system
• Defining checks and balances to minimize risks from vendors by developing norms and code of conduct as well as ensuring complete compliance with regulations and statutory requirements.
• Ensuring and adhering to internal ficial controls

CustomerCentricity

• Ensuring timely issues of materials round the clock needed for uninterrupted plant operations, housekeeping, preventive or breakdown maintece
• MIS reports with respect to stores related (Inventory/Min Max items/Receipts/Issue/Obsolete items and Surplus items
• Materials issue as per FIFO system
• Monitoring Shelflife items (Issue First out as per expiry date)
• Monitoring Daily Receipts of Materials
• Timely GRN/Inspection and delivery in system
