Job summary

Genxhire Services in India is seeking a Stores/Inventory Controller to ensure stock accuracy, cycle counting, and zero variance between system and physical stock. The role emphasizes precise material handling, ABC analysis, and ERP-driven control across departments.

You will maintain stock levels, ensure safe storage, implement ISO/TS procedures, and provide routine reporting while upholding orderly housekeeping and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock accuracy and cycle counting.
• Familiar with ERP systems for material reconciliation.
• Knowledge of ISO/TS quality procedures.
• Strong housekeeping and documentation handling.

Responsibilities

• Implement the cycle counting system for raw material with zero variance between system stock and physical stock.
• Maintain stock accuracy and minimum reorder level.
• Issuance of material against authorised documents only to different departments.
• Perform ABC analysis by categorising value/importance.
• Supervise receiving and issuing of materials and handling rejected/subcontracted material; maintain in ERP accordingly.
• Create and maintain proper material placement layout on the shop floor.
• Reconcile inventory and ensure proper housekeeping of the store area.
• Work per ISO/TS quality procedures and maintain all store materials and handling equipment.
• Material reconciliation of outsourcing items and maintain tool transfer documents.
• Report daily, weekly, and monthly on all activities; manage documentation movement.
• Identify and address IMS-related problems and initiate corrective actions.

• Stock Accuracy & Inventory Control: - Implementing the cycle counting system for the raw material & ensure zero variation the system stock /physical stock
• Responsible for overall activities related safe Storage & handling .
• Maintaining the stock accuracy and minimum reorder level
• Visual control of storage location and upkeep of the material
• Issuance of the material against authorised docs only ,to the different departments
• cetagorising valuewise / importancewise , (ABC analysis)
• Supervising all activities related to Stores like Receiving & Issuing the material dispatching of rejected & subcontracted material & maintaining it in ERP system accordingly
• Creating & Maintaining proper material placement layout on shop floor by identifying an area for each and every material as per the usage
• Reconciliation for the inventory
• Proper housekeeping of the Store area
• Working as per the procedures laid down by ISO/ TS Quality Systems
• Proper maintenance of all the Stores material and handling equipments
• Material reconciliation of out sourcung items & maintaining tools transfer doc .
• Reporting daily , weekly , monthly regarding all activities ,
• Effective management on docs movement /handling , No Grin pendency .
• Developing and approving IMS documents where required
• Identifying IMS related problems encountered in the area of activity
• Initiating action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity related to Quality, Environment, Health and Safety
• Initiating, recommending and providing solutions through designated channels
• Verifying the effectiveness of solutions implemented, and
• Control of nonconforming products / activities in the area
