Job summary

Deepak Group is seeking a Store Officer to manage daily store operations in Gujarat. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, material handling, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support procurement and production.

The candidate will oversee GRN transactions, stock audits, and coordination with suppliers to optimize inventory levels and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
• Maintain inventory and stock of raw materials, chemicals, consumables, and spare parts using FIFO/LIFO inventory management methodologies.
• Perform Goods Receipt Note (GRN) transactions accurately and ensure proper documentation of incoming materials.
• Administer and monitor Returnable Gate Pass (RGP) and Non-Returnable Gate Pass (NRGP) processes and related controls.
• Supervise warehouse activities and ensure safe and efficient material handling practices.
• Conduct periodic stock audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory verification to ensure inventory accuracy and process compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to facilitate timely receipt and availability of materials.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory planning to avoid shortages and excess inventory.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements to improve store efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and inventory management procedures.
