Job summary

Synapseindia is seeking an experienced IT recruiter in Kolkata to manage end-to-end recruitment for IT roles across technologies and experience levels. You will source candidates, screen resumes, conduct initial HR interviews, coordinate technical interviews, and manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth join.

What is the work?

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for IT positions across multiple technologies and experience levels.
• Understand hiring requirements from hiring managers and prepare effective sourcing strategies.
• Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, databases, and networking.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial HR interviews to evaluate technical fit, communication skills, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate technical interviews, client interviews, and follow-up discussions.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Negotiate compensation packages and facilitate offer acceptance.
• Ensure timely documentation, background verification coordination, and pre-joining formalities.
• Drive the complete onboarding process until the candidate successfully joins the organization.
• Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and hiring reports.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for recurring technology requirements.
• Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Work towards monthly and quarterly hiring targets while maintaining quality standards.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

• Strong understanding of IT recruitment processes and technical hiring.
• Hands-on experience hiring Software Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, UI/UX Designers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other IT professionals.
• Experience recruiting for technologies such as PHP, .NET, Java, Python, MERN Stack, React, Node.js, Flutter, AI/ML, Cloud, DevOps, and Mobile Technologies will be preferred.
• Excellent sourcing skills using Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, and social media platforms.
• Strong interviewing, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is an advantage.
