Job summary

JTEKT INDIA LTD. is seeking a competent HR professional to manage labour law compliance, payroll, and industrial relations across our plant operations in India.

The role focuses on ensuring statutory adherence, payroll accuracy, and proactive employee relations. You will drive engagement, coordinate with leadership and authorities, and oversee day-to-day HR activities including attendance, leave, and lifecycle management, supported by HR MIS.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Experience in audit handling and compliance management is desirable.
• Payroll administration and payroll processing experience.
• Experience in handling employee grievances and disciplinary cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in HR MIS and HR documentation processes.

• Lead payroll

• Drive employee engagement, welfare initiatives and effective employee communication.
• Coordinate with plant leadership, corporate HR, labour authorities and external consultants as required.
• Coordinate day-to-day plant HR operations, including manpower, attendance, leave, employee lifecycle and HR MIS.
