Job Description : Sr Engineer Sales and Marketing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle regular sales, Payment collection, prediction of future sales in Petrochemistry market segment
• Aptitude for getting deep in to customers processes, technical solution oriented approach
• Maintain business relations at all levels with customers
• Work closely with internal technical teams like design, engineering, production, pre-assembly, installation to seamlessly provide full solution to customers
• Work closely with external partners to include sourced products inside the solutions
• Work on multiple products & markets and grasp complexity of decision making based on historical perspectives and current realities
• Develop market intelligence with networking, discussions with market associates and customers and forecast future trends in the market and suggest strategies to sustain growth
• Circulate structured reports of customer visit, market survey, monthly sales.

Functional Requirements

• Experience in B2B sales/ market development of technical products
• Acumen of Market survey & Market Potential analysis
• Understanding of 2d-3d drawings and AutoCAD knowledge
• Aptitude for deeper technical understanding, ability to go deeper in to customer’s processes to be able to keep up “solution provider” image of Saint-Gobain
• Sales report generation & presentation
• Ability to communicate internally and externally at all levels of organization. Knowledge of local language and local cultural sensitivity will be great advantage in internal communication

Qualification and Skills

• 3 - 5 Years of experience with BE/B.Tech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering background.
• Technical selling, autocad, Market intelligence, B2B Sales, Commercial negotiation, sales forecast, report generation and presentation, market development, sourcing of products from affiliate plants
