Job summary

Birlasoft invites you to join our IT service desk team in Dadri, UP, to support US customers over the phone. You will provide desktop support, manage Windows server tasks, and handle incidents within ITIL frameworks. Exposure to Autosys or Control-M and AD management is desirable.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication and listening skills.
• Experience in handling US customers over the phone.
• Desktop support experience.
• ITIL framework knowledge.
• Basic Java scripting knowledge.
• L1/L2 server support (Windows services start/stop/restart).
• L2 IT Service Desk support & queue monitoring.
• Code promotion and migration (DLL & Class files).
• Autosys scheduling: CA WLA or BMC Control-M (Helix).
• Cloud based infrastructure awareness (IAAS).
• Incident creation and handling using ITIL ticketing tool.
• Active Directory management.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone-based support to US customers.
• Perform desktop support and troubleshooting.
• Manage server start/stop/restart for L1/L2 issues.
• Resolve incidents via ITIL-based ticketing system.
• Assist in code promotion and migration activities.
• Monitor IT queues and escalate as needed.
• Support Autosys scheduling tools (WLA or Control-M).
• Maintain Active Directory accounts and permissions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth IT operations.
