Job summary

Amex GBT in India is seeking a seasoned Python software engineer to join a SCRUM team, designing and delivering automated features and maintaining existing systems. You will optimize performance, diagnose issues, and collaborate across engineering, design, and product to improve automations.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of Python experience, strong unit testing and TDD skills, and a passion for clean code in a multicultural setting. English fluency required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in Python.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS or STEM.
• Operational knowledge of Python scripting and modular development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, especially GitHub and Jenkins.
• Unit testing and TDD methodology experience.
• Interest in mastering new technologies and clean code.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative mindset.
• Fluent English and ability to work in a multicultural team.
