Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a proficient C# developer to join our growing software engineering team in Bangalore. You will contribute to the evolution of REST APIs, design new features, and help extend our travel booking platform with robust, scalable solutions.

You should bring strong C#/.NET Core experience, proficiency with Docker, Linux, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and CI/CD automation, plus excellent English communication and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in C# development
• Experience with NET Core and ASP.NET Core Web API
• Familiar with Docker, Linux, Redis, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL
• Experience with Ansible and fully automated CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of High Availability and scalable architectures
• Experience with ELK stack and AWS
• Excellent written and verbal English communication

What You’ll Do

• Advance the evolution and development of the REST API
• Contribute to the ext ension and design of the platform
• Develop new features and new modules
• Participate in DevOps (automated CI/CD, testing, monitorability)

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in C# development
• Experienced in C#, NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, Docker, Linux, Redis, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Ansible, fully automated CI/ CD, High Availability, Scalable & performant platform, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), AWS
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Passion for software craftmanship, culture of excellence, clean code, and TDD
• A p roven leader – you are goal-oriented, organized , and able to work in teams
• Analytical and creative thinking skills
• Strong work ethic
