Job summary

Blufacade in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, seeks a Site Engineer to supervise day‑to‑day site activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure project execution meets quality and safety standards.

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering with 1–2 years experience in construction or façade projects preferred. Proficiency reading drawings, AutoCAD and MS Office will help deliver on-site measurements, material handling, and delivery reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in construction, façade engineering, or site execution activities.
• Proficiency reading engineering drawings and understanding project documentation.
• Knowledge of quality control and safety standards; ability to monitor site measurements, material specs, and installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per project requirements.
• Prepare product delivery reports during site work material purchase and maintain documentation with photo/video evidence.
• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, vendors, and workers for smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations at site.
• Track material usage, manpower allocation, and work progress.
• Maintain project records, reports, and site documentation.
• Assist in site measurements, planning, and technical coordination activities.
• Support client and consultant coordination during project activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE Site Engineer

DEPARTMENT Projects / Site Operations

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

EXPERIENCE : Minimum 1–2 years of experience in construction, façadeengineering, or site execution activities

SKILLS : Technical knowledge of façade engineering, ACP cladding, glazing systems, structural drawings, site execution, and construction methodologies. Ability to read engineering drawings, monitor site measurements, material specifications, installation processes, and project execution activities. Knowledge of quality control, safety standards, material handling, AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation is preferred.

ROLES

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and project execution
• Support the marketing team in BOQ preparation and other site related works
• Coordinate with contractors, workers, vendors, and project teams
• Coordinate with Purchase department for product purchase and Preparation of Delivery reports
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of work
• Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed at site
• Support material planning, site measurements, and execution activities
• Maintain site reports and project documentation
• Assist in resolving site-related operational issues
• Ensure smooth coordination between site and office teams

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per project requirements
• Prepare product delivery report during site work material purchase and should record it in photo or video evidence and coordinate with the purchase department for documents maintenance.
• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, vendors, and workers for smooth project execution
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations at site
• Track material usage, manpower allocation, and work progress
• Conduct site inspections and report project updates to management
• Assist in site measurements, planning, and technical coordination activities
• Identify site issues and support corrective action implementation
• Maintain project records, reports, and site documentation
• Ensure proper handling and usage of materials and equipment at site
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely project execution and completion
• Support client and consultant coordination during project activities
• During project closure should do joint measurements, Quality checks, photo evidence collections with the client for proper closing.
• During project progress should collect stagewise photo evidence to record the project execution stagewise.
• Ensure cleanliness, discipline, and safety practices at the project site
• Do professional communications and coordination with other departments throughout the project completions.
