Job summary

Brigade Group in Chennai is seeking an experienced Facade Project Manager to oversee façade works across packages, coordinate with design teams and vendors, and ensure timely, quality execution on large-scale construction projects.

You will plan the façade construction programme, manage subcontractors, review variations, ensure safety documentation, and support the Project Manager with day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in managing facades projects with a proven track record.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience at this level, working on similar projects.
• Strong and effective sub-contractor management skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with daily operations.
• Coordinate façade elements across subcontract packages and oversee the interface.
• Execute façade works with quality.
• Plan and program the overall façade construction programme.
• Coordinate with façade vendor for design, planning and execution.
• Coordinate with Design team for drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines.
• Conduct site visits to inspect installations and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare end-to-end glazing schedule and ensure handovers are on time.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and drawings.
• Coordinate with project team to ease work flow.
• Ensure SOPs are followed from design to procurement to installations.
• Compile Safety File and O&M data for handover to the client.
• Complete on-site testing, sign-off and snagging.
• Review and validate variations related to façade scope.
• Review variations with façade sub-contractors when necessary.

• Supporting the Project Manager with daily operations as required .
• Ensuring coordination of façade elements across various subcontract packages and oversight of the detailed interface.
• Responsible for Execution of Façade Works with Quality.
• Planning and programming the overall façade construction programme.
• Coordinating with Design team for drawings .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate execution of designs and meet project timelines.
• Conduct site visits to inspect installations and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during construction or operation
• Prepare end to end glazing schedule for the project & ensure the timelines are met for handing overs
• Ensure compliance with the Employments Requirements and project performance specifications and drawings.
• Coordinating with project team to ensure the work is carried out easily .
• Ensuring all SOPs are met from Design to procurement to installations.
• Ensuring that all Safety File and O&M data is compiled for handover to the Clients representative.
• Ensuring all onsite testing is completed in line with specifications and sign off and snagging is completed.
