Design Coordination & Technical Management

Coordinate with architect, structural consultant, and MEP to ensure façade design intent is technically feasible and buildable.

Review façade drawings, details, sections, and elevations for constructability, tolerances, and interfaces.

Ensure alignment between architectural drawings, structural embeds, inserts, and slab edge details.

• Curtain wall
• Window wall
• Stone cladding / ACP / GFRC / precast (as applicable)

Review and approve shop drawings, calculations, and material specifications submitted by façade vendors.

Verify compliance with:

• Wind load & structural performance
• Water tightness & air infiltration
• Thermal performance & acoustic requirements

Coordinate mock-ups, performance tests, and sample approvals.

Assist in pre‑qualification and technical evaluation of façade contractors.

Participate in technical bid evaluation and negotiations.

Review BOQs, system proposals, and value engineering options without compromising performance or aesthetics.

Ensure long‑lead façade materials are frozen as per project schedule.

4. Site Execution & Quality Control

• Correct setting out & alignment
• Proper fixing methods and anchorage
• Sealant application and finishing quality
• Coordinate façade works with RCC, waterproofing, and finishing trades.
• Conduct regular inspections and issue snag lists / corrective action reports.
• Ensure façade works meet approved drawings and specifications.

5. Interface Management

• Waterproofing systems
• Fire stopping and expansion joints
• Resolve on‑site technical issues and discrepancies proactively.
• Water penetration test
• Structural load testing (if applicable)
• Ensure compliance with local codes, fire norms, and safety regulations.
• Review and hand over:
  • As-built drawings
  • Operation & maintenance manuals
  • Warranty documents

7. Safety & Compliance

Ensure façade installation complies with EHS guidelines, especially for:

• Working at height
• Access systems (BMU, gondolas, scaffolding)

Coordinate with safety team to implement approved method statements and risk assessments.

8. Reporting & Documentation

Track façade progress against the project master schedule.

Provide regular updates on:

• Drawings status
• Site progress & risks
