Job summary

K Raheja Corp is seeking a Manager Faade to lead planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of faade works for high-rise residential projects.

The role involves coordinating with architects, consultants, and contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to timelines.

Responsibilities include design coordination, contractor management, quality assurance, site supervision, cost control, reporting, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of faade systems such as curtain walls, glazing, aluminium cladding, stone cladding, and other exterior finishes.
• Coordinate with architects, faade consultants, structural engineers, and MEP teams for design finalization.
• Manage faade contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers at site; monitor performance and adherence to scope, quality, and timelines.
• Ensure all faade works comply with drawings, specifications, and quality standards; conduct inspections for installation, sealing, waterproofing, and structural integrity.
• Supervise installation activities at site; enforce safety protocols and compliance with HSE guidelines during faade works.
• Monitor faade-related costs; evaluate variations, claims, and billing; optimize material utilization and minimize wastage.
• Track daily/weekly progress of faade activities; prepare reports on progress, risks, and delays; identify bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate and monitor faade performance tests and ensure proper installation before project handover.

Role Summary

The Manager Faade will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of faade works for high-rise residential buildings. This includes ensuring quality, safety, cost efficiency, and adherence to project timelines while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end execution of faade systems such as curtain walls, glazing, aluminium cladding, stone cladding, and other exterior finishes.
• Develop detailed work plans, sequencing, and installation methodologies.
• Ensure alignment with overall construction timelines and milestones.

2. Design Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, faade consultants, structural engineers, and MEP teams for design finalization.
• Review shop drawings, material specifications, fabrication drawings, and mock-ups.
• Ensure design compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.

3. Contractor & Vendor Management

• Manage faade contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers at site.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to scope, quality, and timelines.
• Facilitate procurement and timely delivery of faade materials.

4. Quality Assurance & Control

• Ensure all faade works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections for installation, sealing, waterproofing, and structural integrity.
• Implement quality control procedures and resolve site-related technical issues.

5. Site Supervision & Safety

• Supervise installation activities at site and ensure proper execution.
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance with HSE guidelines during faade works.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe working practices at heights.

6. Cost & Budget Control

• Monitor faade-related costs and ensure work is within approved budgets.
• Evaluate variations, claims, and billing related to faade works.
• Optimize material utilization and minimize wastage.

7. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Track daily/weekly progress of faade activities.
• Prepare reports on progress, risks, and delays for management review.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.

8. Testing & Commissioning

• Coordinate and monitor faade performance tests such as water tightness, air infiltration, structural performance, etc.
• Ensure proper installation and finishing before project handover.
