PeopleStrong is looking for a Deputy Manager – Façade Execution Works in Mumbai, India. The role involves supervising on-site façade installation activities to ensure they are executed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. You will coordinate closely with design teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors to manage all aspects of the project.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture, and have 6–10 years of relevant experience in façade execution. A strong knowledge of façade systems, quality control, and safety in high-rise construction is essential.

Job Summary

The Deputy Manager – Façade Execution Works is responsible for supervising and managing on-site façade installation activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards. The role involves close coordination with design teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Oversee day-to-day façade installation works at site (curtain wall, glazing, cladding, etc.).
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, method statements, and project timelines.
• Monitor site progress and resolve execution‑related issues promptly.

2. Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with design, structural, and MEP teams for seamless integration.
• Prepare micro‑level execution plans, work schedules, and look‑ahead programs.
• Ensure availability of drawings, materials, and manpower ahead of execution.
• Supervise installation of:
  • Curtain wall systems (unitized & semi‑unitized)
  • Structural glazing
  • Aluminum & glass façades
  • ACP/HPL/stone cladding systems
  • Louvers, skylights, and canopies
• Ensure alignment, tolerances, and weatherproofing standards are maintained.

4. Quality Control (QA/QC)

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor workmanship, sealing, and finishing quality.
• Raise and close snag lists; ensure defect‑free execution.
• Supervise façade contractors, fabricators, and installers.
• Track vendor performance and ensure adherence to timelines and quality.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely material delivery.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to site safety standards, especially for high‑rise façade works.
• Implement safe working practices (scaffolding, gondola operations, lifting).
• Comply with local regulations and project safety protocols.
• Verify contractor bills based on work progress.
• Maintain daily/weekly progress reports and site documentation.
• Track material consumption and wastage.

8. Testing & Handover

• Support final inspections and project handover.
• Ensure all documentation and approvals are completed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Architecture.
• 6–10 years of experience in façade execution or building envelope works.
