Job summary

Contactx Resource Management is seeking a qualified candidate to design, implement, and manage ServiceNow ITOM modules across key areas. This role requires strong experience with JavaScript and cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, or Mumbai. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in ServiceNow ITOM modules and hands-on with CMDB.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and MID Server setup.
• Good scripting skills in JavaScript and understanding of ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM modules including:
• Discovery
• Service Mapping
• Event Management
• Orchestration
• CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
• Configure and maintain MID Servers, Discovery schedules, and patterns.
• Implement and manage Service Mapping for business services and applications.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Splunk).
• Work on Event Management including alert correlation, event rules, and dashboards.
• Ensure CMDB health by managing:
• Data normalization
• Data reconciliation
• CI relationships
• Develop workflows, business rules, and scripts using:
• JavaScript
• Glide APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ITOM modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ITSM, SecOps, DevOps).
• Participate in upgrades, patching, and platform enhancements.
