Qualifications

• Proficient in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and ACLs.

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, and maintain ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
• Develop and enhance Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Notifications, Flow Designer workflows, and Service Catalog items.
• Support day-to-day ServiceNow platform administration and operational activities.
• Analyze incidents, defects, and service requests and provide timely technical resolution.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring platform and application issues.
• Support upgrades, patching, cloning, and instance migration across environments.
• Create, manage, review, and deploy update sets and repository packages.
• Perform release validation, regression testing, and post-deployment verification.
• Monitor logs, scheduled jobs, integrations, and system performance.

Required Skills

• 36 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and platform operations.


• Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and administration.


• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules.


• Experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and ACLs.


• Experience in Service Catalog, Flow Designer, workflows, notifications, and approval configurations.


• Knowledge of ServiceNow release-management and deployment processes.


• Experience with update sets, application repository, source control, and deployment activities.


• Understanding of instance cloning, migration, upgrade, and patching activities.


• Experience in release testing, validation, and regression testing.


• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot platform, integration, and post-release issues.


• Understanding of REST/SOAP integrations and MID Server concepts.


• Working knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.


• Good analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator — CSA.


• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer — CAD.


• CIS–ITSM certification or relevant ServiceNow micro-certifications.


• ITIL Foundation certification.


• Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or enterprise application-support environments.

• Support integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and other integration mechanisms.


• Maintain technical documentation, deployment records, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.


• Follow ServiceNow development standards, change-management procedures, security controls, and coding best practices.


• Coordinate with process owners, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and other technical stakeholders.
