Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies in Nagpur invites a seasoned ServiceNow Developer to design and deliver ITSR-oriented solutions. You will implement with JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting to build catalog items, approvals, and workflows, and integrate systems via REST and SOAP.

The role requires hands-on portal development, strong data-model understanding, and end-to-end delivery from design through hypercare. CSA/CIS credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with ServiceNow application development for ITSR capabilities.
• Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting experience (client scripts, business rules).
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow fundamentals, data model, and config vs customization.
• Proven experience building ITSR-aligned solutions (catalog items, record producers, order guides, variables).
• Experience with approvals, fulfilment workflows, SLAs, notifications, and task orchestration.
• Hands-on Service Portal development for request journeys (catalogue/pages, widgets).
• Knowledge of update set hierarchy and deployment across environments.
• REST/SOAP integrations to support fulfilment and downstream systems.
• Experience with ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change) interfacing with fulfilment.
• Ability to document process-based solutions and BPM/workflow documentation.
• ServiceNow CSA/CIS certification preferred/required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and end-to-end delivery skills.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into end-to-end request processes and technical solutions.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and provide hypercare support for ServiceNow implementations.

Job Description :

• 5+ years experience in software development, with significant hands‑on experience delivering ServiceNow application development for IT Service Request (ITSR) capabilities.
• Strong JavaScript development skills, with excellent ServiceNow scripting experience (client scripts, business rules, script includes, UI policies/actions).
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform fundamentals, including data model/data layer concepts and configuration vs customisation best practice.
• Proven experience building ITSR-aligned request solutions, including :
  1. Service Catalogue items, Record Producers, Order Guides, Variables/Variable Sets
  2. Approvals, fulfilment workflows, SLAs, notifications, and task orchestration
  3. Flow Designer and workflow patterns for request fulfilment
• Hands‑on Service Portal development experience for request journeys (catalogue/request pages, widgets, portal configuration and UX improvements).
• Strong knowledge of update set hierarchy and deployment/promotion practices across environments.
• Integration experience, including REST/API integrations and exposure to SOAP/web services where required, to support request fulfilment and downstream systems.
• Experience working with ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change) where they interface with request fulfilment and operational processes.
• Demonstrated ability to design and document process‑based solutions, including use cases, request/fulfilment process maps, and BPM/workflow documentation.
• ServiceNow certification preferred/required : CSA and/or CIS (as applicable).
• Ability to translate business requirements into end‑to‑end request processes and technical solutions; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• End‑to‑end delivery experience across solution design, build, test, deployment, and hypercare/support.
