Job summary

Bean Hr Consulting in India is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and workflows. You will configure ITSM and SPM modules, drive end-to-end implementations, and build integrations using Flow Designer and Integration Hub.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of hands-on experience, CSA certification, and strong client-facing communication skills. Knowledge of ITOM/HRSD/CSM is a plus; role involves SDLC ownership and ensuring

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and platform implementation.
• Core expertise in configuring ITSM and SPM modules.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, GlideScripting, GlideRecord APIs, and JSON.
• Experience with Service Portal, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Flow Designer.
• Mandatory CSA certification; CIS preferred (CIS-ITSM or CIS-SPM).
• Desirable exposure to ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.
• Strong client-facing communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Configure ITSM and SPM modules including Incident, Problem, Change and Portfolio/ Demand.
• Create automations, catalog items, and approvals using Flow Designer.
• Build REST/SOAP integrations via Integration Hub or custom web services.
• Own SDLC across requirements, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Enforce coding standards and update set hygiene for upgradeability.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Application Development & Customization: Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and workflows using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Script Includes.
• Module Implementation (ITSM & SPM): Drive end-to-end implementation and configuration of core modules including IT Service Management (Incident, Problem, Change) and Strategic Portfolio Management (Project, Portfolio, Demand Management).
• Automation & Workflows: Create and optimize process automations, catalog items, and complex approval chains using Flow Designer and ServiceNow Workflow Engine.
• Integrations: Build and maintain seamless REST/SOAP API integrations between ServiceNow and third-party enterprise tools via Integration Hub or custom web services.
• SDLC Ownership: Participate actively across all lifecycle phasesfrom technical requirement gathering and design to testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Platform Health & Best Practices: Enforce ServiceNow coding standards, ensure update set hygiene, and design solutions that maintain upgradeability without unnecessary customization.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on technical experience in ServiceNow development and platform implementation.
• Core Expertise: Demonstrated strength in configuring, customizing, and expanding ITSM and SPM modules.
• Technical Stack:
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, GlideScripting, GlideRecord APIs, and JSON.
• Solid hands-on experience with Service Portal, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Flow Designer.
• Certifications:
  
• Mandatory: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• Preferred: Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS e.g., CIS-ITSM or CIS-SPM).
• Domain Knowledge (Desirable): Exposure to additional modules such as ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps is a strong advantage.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, clear client-facing communication skills, and the ability to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
