Job summary

VINSAK is looking for a Service Engineer to join the Mumbai Service Division. The role focuses on installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing packaging and printing machines, leveraging strong electrical and electronics skills and customer-facing communication.

Based in Mumbai, you will perform on-site and remote troubleshooting, provide preventive maintenance, and ensure thorough documentation of service activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Knowledge of servo drives, sensors, PLCs, and schematic reading.
• Understanding of UV curing, tension control, and web-handling systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation and servicing.
• Troubleshoot issues on-site and remotely.
• Communicate issues to escalation teams and provide feedback to customers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and printing problems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and printing problems by phone support.
• Provide preventive maintenance on all equipment and make recommendations to customers.
• Proper documentation of all work required i.e., service reports, expense exports, installation feedback forms etc.

VINSAK is looking to hire a Service Engineer for its Service Division in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing a range of printing and packaging machines. This role requires strong technical skills in electrical and electronic systems along with good customer service abilities.
