Job summary

VINSAK is seeking a Service Engineer for Hyderabad to manage inkjet/digital printing equipment, focusing on production efficiency and quality rather than maintenance.

You should have 5+ years in water-based inkjet printing, strong Kodak Prosper knowledge, and English communication. The role involves leading improvement projects, training operators, and supporting new projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Printing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related.
• 5+ years in water-based inkjet printing / digital printing.
• Strong knowledge of Kodak Prosper printhead operating principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stable operation of inkjet printing equipment while improving production efficiency and quality.
• Lead lean CI projects within the printing team to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure printing quality targets are met and drive related improvements.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Tune inkjet process parameters and develop related SOPs.
• Continuously optimize processes to reduce quality risks.
• Maintain and improve Lean Continuous Improvement (LCI) practices.
• Support new project introductions and manage daily consumables.
• Develop and train operators to enhance technical skills.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Profile summary:

A hands-on inkjet/digital printing process expert with strong Kodak Prosper system experience, ideally from industrial printing, packaging printing, or flexible packaging environments. The role focuses on equipment expertise, process optimization, quality improvement, and production efficiency rather than pure equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

.

• Maintain stable operation of inkjet printing equipment, continuously improve production efficiency while ensuring product quality, and achieve production targets.
• Lead continuous improvement projects within the printing team, focusing on efficiency enhancement and cost reduction.
• Ensure achievement of printing department quality targets and drive related improvement activities.
• Lead root cause investigations, problem analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up execution for quality issues.
• Adjust and optimize inkjet/digital printing process parameters and develop relevant SOPs.
• Continuously optimize inkjet/digital printing processes to reduce quality risks.
• Maintain and promote continuous improvement of the company’s LCI (Lean Continuous Improvement) system.
• Support other printing-related activities, including new project introduction, and maintenance and management of daily consumables.
• Develop and train printing operators to enhance technical skills and operational capabilities.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

.

Bachelor’s degree or above in Printing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in the water-based inkjet printing / digital printing industry.

• Strong understanding of Kodak Prosper printhead operating principles and maintenance; familiar with inkjet control systems and ink supply systems.
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in spoken and written English (reading, writing, and communication).

Location:

The Service Engineer will work from Hyderabad.
