Job summary

Ascendion in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Talent Specialist to drive end-to-end recruitment, sourcing candidates through multiple channels and assessing fit for client requirements. The role emphasizes strong communication, relationship-building, and proactive engagement with candidates and hiring managers.

You will collaborate with our North America sales team to understand client needs, update candidates regularly, and negotiate terms to secure commitments for current and future roles.

Responsibilities

• Review job descriptions and understand client requirements to plan candidate search strategy.
• Source candidates via portals, internal data, social media and other channels.
• Assess candidate experience, knowledge, skills and competencies.
• Own end-to-end recruitment cycle including scheduling and coordination.
• Build strong relationships with candidates to enable referrals.
• Negotiate wage rates and terms; secure candidate commitment for current/future roles.
• Submit resumes to hiring managers for review and next steps.
• Maintain timely communication with candidates and provide candidacy updates.
• Collaborate with onsite North America sales team to understand client needs.
• Engage candidates via email, calls, and video chats on an ongoing basis.

• Source candidates using multiple channels like job portals, internal database, social media etc
• Assess applicant’s relevant experience, knowledge, skills and competencies
• Scheduling, coordination and ownership of end to end recruitment cycle.
• Build strong candidate relationship & credibility to leverage their trust for getting referrals.
• Negotiating wage rates and other terms of employment and gain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements
• Submitting candidate’s resume to the hiring managers for further scrutiny or consideration.
• Timely communication with the candidates and keeping them posted with updates on their candidature.
• Partner with our onsite sales team in North America to understand the client’s needs and requirements
• Engage regularly on an ongoing basis with the candidates through email, voice & video calls.
