Job summary

Ascendion in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Associate – HRBP to partner with business leaders on talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.

You will support workforce planning, succession, development opportunities, and collaborate with TA, L&D, Total Rewards to deliver people solutions, while ensuring compliance and a high-quality employee experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering or HRBP role.
• Experience in global IT or technology services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, employee relations, performance management, and talent management.
• Ability to translate HR metrics into actionable insights for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.

About The Role

Job Title: Senior Associate – HRBP

Location: Bangalore

What You'll Do

• Partner with business leaders and managers to execute HR strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Support workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives across assigned business units.
• Act as a trusted HR advisor by providing guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation, performance concerns, and people‑related matters.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives by understanding employee sentiment, identifying improvement opportunities, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with managers to identify capability gaps, training needs, and development opportunities for employees.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and other HR teams to deliver seamless people solutions.
• Support the performance management cycle, including goal setting, performance reviews, feedback discussions, and development planning.
• Analyze HR metrics and people data to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend actions to improve business outcomes.
• Lead and contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives across areas such as employee lifecycle, engagement, performance management, and HR operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment practices, and applicable labor regulations while maintaining a high standard of employee experience.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering role, preferably in a global IT or technology services environment.
• MBA or Master's degree with specialization in Human Resources.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, employee relations, performance management, talent management, and employee engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and business leaders.
• High level of ownership, problem‑solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Experience working with HRIS tools and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint is preferred.
