Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience.

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and profitability.
• Drive field-marketing activities to boost brand visibility and product uptake.
• Plan and monitor field marketing for healthy lead pipeline and branch growth.
• Engage customers for acquisition and retention of existing customers.
• Ensure accurate valuation of pledged gold ornaments per policy and audit requirements.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with safekeeping of pledged securities.
• Maintain NPAs through diligent follow-ups for interest collections.
• Plan and coordinate branch operations for cohesive teamwork.
• Hire, coach, mentor, and provide timely performance feedback to staff.
• Maintain quality performance and prepare reports for business growth.
• Increase Gold Loan business and cross-sell products (NCDs, Gold Coins).
• Ensure 100% process compliance in valuation and operations.

Job Summary

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited. The branch manager has managerial responsibility for providing leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing the business and client base of consumer gold loans. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives, and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive, participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, monitor the branch field-level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of old customers.
• Conducting error-free valuation and appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and taking necessary actions for growth of business in the branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCD's, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error-free valuation and appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
