Job summary

Bajaj finance limited is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead daily branch activities, drive profitability, and ensure compliance in gold loan operations. The role emphasizes field marketing, customer acquisition and retention, accurate valuation of pledged gold, vault custody, NPAs, staff coaching, and growth of gold loan and other products.

Candidates should have 4–7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's or higher, with proven communication and client service skills.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and profitability.
• Drive field-marketing activities to boost brand visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch marketing to maintain healthy lead pipeline.
• Engage customers for new acquisitions and retention.
• Conduct valuation appraisal of pledged gold with accuracy and compliance.
• Safekeep pledged securities as joint custodian of the vault.
• Monitor NPAs through follow-ups for interest collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor, and train staff with timely feedback.
• Prepare reports and drive branch growth.
• Increase gold loan business and other third-party products (NCDs, gold coins).
• Maintain 100% process compliance in valuation.
• Ensure error-free valuation of pledged gold.

Job Purpose

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations,performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility
• Plan,conduct monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion branch growth
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions retainment of old customers
• Conducting error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of of pledged securities as per company policies
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCD''s, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.

Required Qualifications and Experience
