Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations and profitability of the branch.
• Drive and participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch field-level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads and business growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
• Ensure proper valuation of pledged gold ornaments as per policy and audit compliance.
• Safeguard pledged securities as joint custodian of the Vault as per company policies.
• Keep NPAs under control through follow-ups for interest collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train employees and provide timely feedback on performance.
• Maintain quality performance of the business, prepare reports, and drive growth in the branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business along with third-party products such as NCDs and Gold Coins.

Job Summary

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited. The Branch Manager is a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive and participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, monitor the branch field-level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of old customers.
• Conducting error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and audit compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch and developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports, and taking necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
