Job summary

Bajaj Finserv Limited is seeking a Branch Operations professional to manage day-to-day activities and profitability at the branch. You will drive field marketing, customer acquisition, and retention strategies while ensuring strict compliance and accurate gold valuation.

The role requires leadership in staffing, coaching, and process improvement to grow the branch and expand product offerings. Experience in gold loan banking is preferred, with strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall branch operations and performance profitability.
• Drive field-marketing activities to improve brand visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch field marketing to ensure healthy lead pipeline and conversions.
• Engage with customers for new acquisitions and retention of existing clients.
• Ensure accurate valuation of gold ornaments and maintain compliance.
• Safekeeping of pledged securities as per policy and audit requirements.
• Keep NPAs under control through diligent follow-ups on interest collections.
• Hire, coach, and train staff with timely performance feedback.
• Prepare branch performance reports and take actions to drive growth.
• Expand Gold Loan business and other third-party products (e.g., NCDs, Gold Coins).
• Maintain accuracy and weight/purity assessments as per policy and audits.

Job Purpose

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall branch operations,performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility
• Plan,conduct monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion branch growth
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions retainment of old customers
• Conducting error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of of pledged securities as per company policies
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCD''s, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education Skill Qualifications:

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelors Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
