Job summary

Lead Hr Services in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, seeks an experienced professional for automotive assembly development. The role requires 5–9 years in the automobile sector, with BE in Mechanical or Electrical. Candidates with IATF 16949 exposure and APQP PFMEA background are preferred. Transportation and meals are provided.

Strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills are essential to drive productivity and safety improvements in line with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in project planning for new programs and equipment development, meeting timelines.
• Experience with IATF 16949 documents, APQP, PFMEA, process capability, and process validation.
• Knowledge of cycle time study, process capability, line balancing and lean manufacturing.
• Design and development of Jigs/Fixtures/Dies (Casting/Stacking).
• Understanding and working with electrical hardwiring circuits (Relay logics).
• Basic knowledge in pneumatics and hydraulics; circuit diagram understanding and troubleshooting.
• Experience in assembly machine development with automation suppliers to meet timelines.
• Capable of guiding and supporting team members to achieve department results.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Process improvements related to safety/quality/productivity and cost.
• Troubleshooting for existing assemblies and new lines.
• Innovation ideas for new machine developments.
• Automotive industry and Japanese company experience will be an advantage.
• Preferred languages: English, Tamil and Hindi.
• Certified internal auditor for IATF 16949 is a plus.
