Job summary

Jobtailor in Pune seeks an experienced Industrialization & New Product Development engineer to lead machine development, processes, and installation on key projects.

You will collaborate across functions to optimize manufacturing, drive PFMEA, PFD, CP & WI, and push lean manufacturing, VAVE and Kaizen in new product initiatives.

The role requires hands-on machining/assembly, CNC/VMC programming, and awareness of APQP/PPAP and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• B.E. Mechanical in Mechanical /Automobile with 6–8 years of experience.
• Hands-on work experience for machining & Assembly (Engine/Gear box).
• Knowledge about machining programming (CNC, VMC) & Torquing tools.
• Awareness of APQP & PPAP process.
• Reduction in internal & customer PPM.
• Awareness of IATF, VDA, OHSAS and ISO 14001 management systems.

• Prepare process documents PFMEA, PFD, CP & WI, drive process parameter through process validation.

• Implement lean manufacturing on shopfloor; drive Low-Cost Automation, VAVE, and Kaizen initiatives.
