Job summary

Lead Hr Services is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Process Engineering for our automotive client in Haryana. The role focuses on moulding processes (rubber injection preferred), PFMEA, PFD development, and assembly line integration.

You will lead 4–5 member teams, drive APQP-driven projects, design moulds/tools/fixtures, coordinate with suppliers, and continuously improve production efficiency. Diploma/BE in mechanical fields required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing Technology.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of moulding process, preferably rubber injection moulding.
• Prepare PFD and PFMEA / PCS.
• Install Poka-Yoke on assembly lines and link with lines.
• Set up and integrate assembly lines.
• Manage 4–5 member projects per APQP.
• Mould/tool design and fixtures development.
• Install new equipment and run tooling trials with shop floor.
• Coordinate with suppliers during mould development to minimize lead time and provide tech support.
• Minimize production losses and improve efficiency.
• Evaluate trial results and establish the optimum process.
• Support quality team in customer complaint analysis and corrective actions.
• Update documents for new product, design changes, process changes, mould and metal suppliers.
• Prepare mould storage and changeover documents.

Position Title Assistant Manager Process Engineering

Reporting To Manager – Process Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Good knowledge of mouldingprocess(rubber injection moulding is preferable)
• Processflow diagram (PFD) & PFMEA /PCS preparation
• Poka-Yoke installation on assy. lines & interlinkage with assy. lines
• Good Knowledge of 3D CAD software solid works is preferable
• Good knowledge of Assy. line set up and assy. line integration
• Project handing capability independently as per APQP & able to handle 4~5 members
• Mould/tool design/assy. fixtures design and development
• New equipment installation and Tooling trial with shop floor team
• Design the existing Mould, gauge, fixture and review with related team members
• Coordination with supplier during mould development for leas time and tech support
• Minimization of Production losses and improve efficiency
• Evaluation of trial results and establish the optimum process
• Evolving technical requirements of machine spec during spec finalization
• Support quality team in analysis of customer complaint and support for corrective action
• Implement the design change activity during development and mass production on time.
• Ensure all master updation, document preparation for new product, design change,
• process change, additional mould and additional metal supplier.
• Prepare the mould storage (tool room), mould/tool change over documents

Age : 28 to 32 Years.

Experience : 8 to 10 Years.
