Job summary

Creative Indians in India is seeking an experienced APQP/PPAP specialist to drive process design and quality improvements across manufacturing lines.

The role includes creating process documentation, designing fixtures, and coordinating with manufacturing and tool room to implement new equipment and successful trials. Candidates should have automotive OEM exposure and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have hands-on knowledge of APQP/PPAP and related quality tools.
• Experience with automotive OEM supply chains is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel is expected.
• Familiarity with AI and robotics concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions.
• Prepare APQP/PPAP documents per ISO/TS-16949:2002 such as Process Flow Diagram, FMEA, Control Plan, and Work Instructions.
• Design fixtures and gauges for automation, productivity, and quality improvement.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Tool Room to carry out process improvement activities on the line.
• Develop new components, design processes, and perform successful process try-outs and commissioning of new equipment and machines.

Role & responsibilities

Knowledge of APQP/PPAP,Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions.

Preparation of all APQP/PPAP documents as per ISO/TS- 16949:2002 such as Process Flow Diagram, FMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions etc. .

Designing of different types of Fixtures & Gauges for Automation, Productivity & Quality Improvement.

Carrying out Improvement activities related to Process on the Line in Co-ordination with Manufacturing & Tool Room department.

New Component Development, Process designing & Successful Process Try-outs & Commissioning of New Equipments & Machines.
