Job summary

Adonis Recruitment Consultants in Chennai is seeking an experienced automotive process engineer to drive new program planning and equipment/tool development for Tier1 auto projects.

The role requires expertise in IATF 16949, APQP, PFMEA, process validation, cycle time studies, line balancing, lean manufacturing, and the design of jigs/fixtures/dies, with a focus on process capability and circuit diagrams.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with Tier1 auto suppliers in PED/PE/NPD.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PFMEA, process validation, cycle time study, and line balancing.

Responsibilities

• Focus on new program planning and new equipment/tool development.
• Implement IATF 16949 compliant processes in manufacturing.
• Conduct PFMEA, process validation, and process capability studies.
• Perform cycle time studies and line balancing to optimize throughput and quality.
• Design and validate jigs, fixtures, dies; develop relay logics and circuit diagrams.
