Job summary

Zippee is seeking a Senior Operations Manager - Warehouse to lead end-to-end operations for our warehouses and fulfilment centers across India, including large-scale last-mile pilots.

This in-person role at our Gurgaon HQ requires strong ownership, high-speed execution, and travel to FC locations, with the ability to design layouts, SOPs, and staffing models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain from a top institution; MBA highly preferred.
• 6–15 years in WH Management or supply chain, with hands-on experience in process design, SLA adherence, and supply chain costs.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets and BI dashboards; proven ability to manage teams and stakeholders independently.
• High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and willingness to travel for ground-level execution.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure startup environment and willingness to travel to execute projects on the ground.

Responsibilities

• Plan and launch key operational projects across warehouses and fulfillment centers pan-India, including last-mile delivery pilots and central process rollouts.
• Design optimized warehouse layouts and zoning strategies based on SKU velocity, demand patterns, and picking efficiency.
• Define and continuously improve SOPs across inbound, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch to drive productivity and reduce order processing time.
• Lead end-to-end setup and expansion of new warehouses and micro-fulfillment centers — from vendor coordination (racking, labeling, equipment) to timely go-live.
• Forecast manpower requirements and build staffing models across all warehouse functions based on order volumes, SKU mix, and peak demand.
