Job summary

Zippee Delivery is seeking an Operations Executive for Dark Store Operations in Bangalore. This in-person role requires proximity to Kalyan Nagar and willingness to travel between dark stores as needed.

You will drive two-hour and same-day delivery operations, coordinate with D2C/Marketplace brands, and maintain strong performance across multiple sites. Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in operations or warehousing, hands-on WMS/ERP experience, and a local network of dark store professionals.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of Operations or Warehousing experience, preferably in Quick Commerce/Logistics tech.
• Must have strong communication & team management skills.
• Hands-on experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 2-Hour/Same-Day Delivery Operations across multiple dark stores in Bangalore.
• Collaborate with Zippee customers (D2C/Marketplaces/E-Commerce Brands) to support growth.
• Ensure SLAs for inbound, inventory management, outbound, rostering, training, and COD management.
• Hire, manage and motivate the dark store team (inventory controllers, pickers, packers, captains, delivery riders).
• Conduct weekly inventory audits, COD reconciliation, and MIS reporting to Management.
• Foster a rockstar culture to scale to profitability.

Job Description :

• We're looking for a talented Operations Executive- Dark Store Operations in Bangalore

• This is an in-person role at our dark store, which will involve local travel to different dark stores, you must be based near Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore.

Role & responsibilities:

• Oversee 2-Hour/Same-Day Delivery Operations (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Management, etc) across multiple dark stores/projects in Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore.
• Work closely with Zippee customers (D2C/Marketplaces/E-Commerce Brands) and support them in expansion/growth.
• Ensure dark store SLAs such as inbound, inventory management, outbound, manpower planning, rostering, training, employee engagement, vendor partnerships, COD management.
• Hire, manage & motivate the dark store team (inventory controllers, pickers, packers, store captains, and delivery riders).
• Weekly inventory audits, COD reconciliation, hiring, & MIS reporting to Management.
• Help create a rockstar culture amongst the team to scale to profitability.

Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of Operations or Warehousing Experience, preferably at Quick Commerce/Supply Chain/Warehousing/Logistics tech companies.
• MUST have strong communication & team management skills
• You must have hands-on experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, inventory management software, etc.
• You must have a local network of dark store/warehousing/operations/last-mile delivery associates.
• You must have your own laptop.
