Job summary

Zippee in Gurugram is seeking ambitious Assistant Managers - Central Operations to lead our Quick Commerce network across dark stores, last-mile delivery and fulfilment, driving speed, reliability and cost efficiency at scale.

You will collaborate with City Operations, Product, Tech and Customer Success to solve operational challenges, automate workflows and improve network performance, in a fast-paced startup where ownership matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field.
• MBA preferred for higher responsibility and strategic scope.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making required.

Responsibilities

• Own central operations across dark stores, last-mile delivery and same-day fulfilment.
• Monitor and improve network KPIs: SLA adherence, delivery TAT, first-attempt success rate, rider productivity, cost per order.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements across fulfilment and last-mile operations.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, Finance and City Operations to automate workflows and boost efficiency.
• Support new city launches, dark store expansion, and network optimization across India.
• Build MIS dashboards and operational reports for data-driven decisions.

• Zippee is looking for ambitious and analytical Assistant Managers - Central Operations to join our Gurugram team.
• You'll own the performance of our Quick Commerce network across dark stores, last-mile delivery, and fulfilment, driving speed, reliability, and cost efficiency at scale.
• This is a high-ownership role with a steep growth trajectory, working closely with City Operations, Product, Tech, and Customer Success teams to solve operational challenges and improve network performance.

What you will do:

• Own central operations across dark stores, last-mile delivery, and same-day fulfilment.
• Monitor and improve network KPIs including SLA adherence, delivery TAT, first-attempt success rate, rider productivity, and cost-per-order.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and drive process improvements across fulfilment and last-mile operations.
• Work closely with Product, Tech, Finance, and City Operations teams to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of experience in Central Operations, Last-Mile Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Quick Commerce.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency and experience working with operational dashboards.
• Hands-on experience managing delivery SLAs, fulfilment operations, rider performance, and operational metrics.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• High ownership mindset with willingness to travel for operational execution.
• Must have your own laptop.
