Job summary

ZIM in Mumbai is seeking a Sales Personnel to drive new business in the Indian market. You will identify potential customers, educate them on ZIM services, and work to secure their cargo with our solutions.

The role requires 6-8 years of shipping industry experience, strong sales credentials, and a proven ability to negotiate and close complex contracts. You will build market strategies, retain customers, and meet monthly targets.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree (Academic Education: Graduate).
• Language: English, Hindi/Marathi.
• Experience: 6-8 years in relevant roles.
• Shipping industry experience is mandatory.
• Sales experience is a must.
• Proven experience in managing complex negotiations and closing contracts.
• Experience in developing markets and recruiting new customers.

Responsibilities

• Identifying new potential customers in market & educating ZIM service & working procedures then securing their biz.
• Achieving the sales targets, fixed by commercial team.
• Updating Pre-plan & post plan sales visit with customer feedback in CRM
• Preparing biz plan whenever required by commercial team to identify new sectors with market potential
• Retaining existing customers with ZIM service.
• Identifying new potential customer & securing their cargo into ZIM.
• Achieving Teus & revenue targets as set by SM.
• Achieve Account owner target per month as decided by company.
