Job summary

HSBC Bengaluru seeks a Maintenance Engineer to manage and oversee maintenance across injection moulding, extrusion, and related utilities. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and compliance with IMS/EMS/QMS/OHSMS standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring uptime and safety across facilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong knowledge on Induction Molding and Extrusion system.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operation.
• Prepare MTTR and MTBF for machines.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and take corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Prepare and update ISO documents related to IMS, EMS, QMS, and OHSMS.
• Install, commission, and test new equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with departments and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance.
