Job summary

Commander Watertech in Pune, Maharashtra, seeks a maintenance technician responsible for daily electrical checks and preventive maintenance of injection molding machinery. You will inspect machines, diagnose electrical issues, and coordinate with vendors to obtain parts and services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Daily visual checks of each machine.
• Fill and file daily maintenance reports.
• Monitor PPM (hard water) and oil/temperature parameters.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and safety point inspections.
• Assist in introducing new machinery and calibrations.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and servicing.
• Maintain ISO documents and plant equipment.
• Produce repair status reports and activity logs.

Role & responsibilities

• Daily check visual point for the every machine.
• Check the daily breakdown report & filling in hard copy of report.
• Daily check the PPM of hard water & soft water.
• Daily check oil temperature & hopper throat temperature of every injection molding.
• Preventive maintenance check point clears every day.
• Daily safety point check to all machines.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision
• Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift
• daily, weekly ,Quarterly & yearly Checks to ensure smooth operation of Machine
• ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out within time frame
• Manage the process of the introduction of new machinery
• Analyzes blue prints, diagram, and drawings of electrical systems for the purpose of determining the efficient installation of new or upgraded systems.
• Diagnoses causes of electrical problems or failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair
• Installs electrical system components (e.g. lighting, alarms, electrical panels, switches, circuits, scoreboards, timers, street signs, etc.) for the purpose of providing enhanced and or upgraded electrical capabilities
• Prepares written materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information
• Repairs electrical components and/or systems (e.g. motors, circuits, transformers, generators, compressors, switches, intercom systems, cafeteria kitchen equipment, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring a safe working condition
• Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns
• Maintain departmental document absence of seniors
• liaising with client departments and customers;
• dealing with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs;
• Keeping Coordination with purchase for critical material
• Contacting and coordinating with vendors/contractors if any issues
• Prepare Thursday maintenance plan one day before.
• Maintain Diesel consumption record & coordinate with purchase dept. for purchasing diesel on time.

Monitoring:-

• Coordination with production supervisor for operating smooth machine
• Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements
• Inspects electrical systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance
• Maintains assigned vehicle, equipment, and tools for the purpose of ensuring availability in a safe operating condition
• Monitors the electrical work of outside contractors
• Monitor and help of equipment testing during celebration & MPCB testing
• monitoring and controlling maintenance costs;
• Preventive maintenance check point clears every day.
• Daily safety point check to all machines
• Maintain ISO documents as per norms
• Maintain properly plant equipment like Computers, printers, Cameras, Smoke detector, Fire alarm System & Punching machine (Bio-metric machine), Fire hydrant system & Plant Lighting.
