Job summary

BVR People Consulting is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer for plastic injection moulding machines in India. The role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize machine uptime and OEE.

The candidate should excel in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting, with hands-on experience in PLC/HMI/VFD and servo drives. Collaboration with production and tool rooms is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of plastic injection moulding machines.
• Strong aptitude for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.
• Familiar with PLC, HMI, VFD and servo drive troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of machines.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
• Handle PLC, HMI, VFD, servo motor and servo drive troubleshooting.
• Monitor machine performance and minimize machine downtime.
• Ensure maximum machine availability and OEE improvement.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring machine breakdowns.
• Maintain and improve MTBF and MTTR.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Tool Room and other departments for maintenance activities.
• Maintain spares, maintenance records and breakdown reports.
• Support machine installation, commissioning and modification activities.
• Follow TPM, 5S, safety and maintenance standards.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and machine reliability improvement.
