Job summary

Pasona is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for injection molding machines in Tamil Nadu. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and minimize downtime while coordinating with production to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with multiple machine brands, TPM knowledge, and strong diagnostic skills. The position supports Kaizen and energy-saving initiatives with shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in injection molding machine maintenance.
• Good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical panels, and PLC systems.
• Hands-on experience with injection molding machine brands such as Sumitomo, Nissei, Fanuc, Matsui, Kanetsu.
• Knowledge of TPM, OEE, Preventive Maintenance, and Breakdown Maintenance.
• Good analytical and diagnostic skills for breakdown and root cause analysis.
• Ability to follow maintenance SOPs and safety standards.
• Good team coordination and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule on injection molding machines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in molding machines.
• Handle breakdown maintenance effectively to minimize machine downtime.
• Maintain and service auxiliary equipment such as Mold Temperature Controllers, Chillers, Dryers, and Robots.
• Ensure machine alignment, platen parallelism, and clamping force settings are maintained as per standards.
• Calibrate and inspect servo motors, heaters, sensors, and hydraulic valves.
• Maintain maintenance checklists, logbooks, and machine downtime records.
• Participate in Kaizen, TPM, 5S, and energy-saving activities.
• Support installation and commissioning of new injection molding machines.
• Conduct breakdown analysis and identify root causes to prevent recurring failures.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure smooth machine operation and production continuity.
