Job summary

Aliaxis India in Karnataka seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to manage and maintain Injection moulding, extrusion, and related utility systems. You will handle preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure compliance with IMS, EMS, QMS and OHSMS standards.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently or in a team, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong knowledge on Induction Molding and Extrusion systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Prepare MTTR and MTBF analyses for essential machines.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Job description

Role Summary

Handling of Injection moulding, extrusion, Tool room machines, Lab Machines, Robots, compressor, DG, Transformer, Cooling tower, Conveyor & other Utilities.

Role Specific Competencies

1. Perform regular preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities to ensure their optimal operation and minimize downtime.


2. Preparation of MTTR, and MTBF for all necessary machines.


3. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and take appropriate corrective action.


4. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety, environmental and quality standards.


5. Preparation and updating of ISO documents related to IMS, EMS, QMS, and OHSMS.


6. Install, commission, and test new equipment and systems.


7. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure equipment and facilities are maintained in accordance with relevant standards.


8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.


9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including spare parts inventory and equipment performance.


10. Collaborate with other departments and external suppliers to ensure equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely and cost-effective manner.
