Job summary

Evolvea Consultancy Kolar is seeking a Production Engineer to manage and optimize manufacturing processes at our facility in Karnataka. The role emphasizes VMC/CNC programming, shop-floor supervision, and ongoing process improvements to meet production targets.

The candidate will coordinate with section in-charges, prepare daily MIS, review schedules, and drive 5S and TPM initiatives for safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of VMC and CNC programming and operation.
• Ability to plan daily production and monitor shop-floor performance.
• Experience in reviewing production reports and coordinating with section in-charges.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer complaints, perform root-cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
• Plan daily production and monitor shop-floor performance.
• Review daily production reports with section in-charges.
• Maintain all production and planning records.
• Review customer schedules & material status; prepare Daily MIS for Unit Head.
• Monitor and review non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Identify training needs and arrange on-the-job trainings.
• Prepare and conduct training programs on product/process topics (5S, TPM).
• Monitor departmental objectives and take corrective actions.
• Conduct performance appraisals for staff and assign tasks.
• Prepare and present Monthly MIS to top management.
• Oversee shop-floor activities, housekeeping, safety and environmental compliance.
• Schedule and monitor 5S audits of the shop-floor area.
• Guide and supervise section in-charge personnel.
