Job summary

Holcim is seeking a Senior Associate - German Language for the Service Desk in the Procure To Pay team, based in Navi Mumbai. The role supports queries from vendors and employees, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with AP processes. Shift is from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm with home drop facility.

Experience with SAP and accounting/commerce knowledge are advantageous for this role, which focuses on delivering service with a strong control framework in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• German proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Ability to synthesize information from diverse sources.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication across levels.
• SAP knowledge is advantageous.
• Background in accounting or commerce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle queries from vendors and employees, routing to AP as needed.
• Meet KPIs and SLAs for service delivery within internal controls.
• Collaborate with Service Management to implement SLAs.
• Manage escalations per process and push back when needed.

Shift: 11:30 am to 8:30 pm (home drop facility provided)

Job responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Receiving queries from vendors and employees and accordingly resolving it themselves or routing it to the right person in the AP team for resolution. Queries may be related to all the three areas (AP, Payments Processing, Times & Expenses)
• Ensure that overall delivery of services to Opcos meets or exceeds agreed KPIs and SLAs defined between Operating Companies and BSC and is within a strong internal control framework.
• Collaborate with the Service Management team to understand and effectively implement SLA.
• Ensure that Internal Customer and Supplier issues are dealt with in accordance with the escalation process and push back where this is not the case;

Desired candidate profile:

• German language proficiency of level B2 or above (or equivalent)
• Ability to utilize information from a wide variety of sources
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
• Experience of SAP will be an added advantage
• Knowledge or understanding of accounting terms/ commerce background will be an added advantage.
