Job summary

Lafarge Africa Plc is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Service Desk for Procure To Pay with German language expertise. Based in Navi Mumbai, the role supports vendors and employees, resolves queries, and ensures KPI and SLA performance through effective incident routing and escalation.

The ideal candidate will have German at least B2, strong communication skills, and familiarity with SAP. Experience in accounting terms is a plus, enabling seamless collaboration with OPCOs and AP teams.

Responsibilities

• Receiving queries from vendors and employees and routing them to the AP team.
• Ensuring service delivery meets KPIs and SLAs between OPCs and BSC.
• Collaborating with Service Management to implement SLAs.
• Managing escalations per the process and pushing back when needed.

Location: Navi Mumbai, MH, IN, 400708

Shift: 11:30 am to 8:30 pm (home drop facility provided)

Job Responsibilities

• Receiving queries from vendors and employees and resolving them or routing them to the appropriate AP team member. Queries may relate to AP, Payments Processing, or Times & Expenses.
• Ensuring overall delivery of services to OPCOs meets or exceeds agreed KPIs and SLAs defined between Operating Companies and BSC, while maintaining a strong internal control framework.
• Collaborating with the Service Management team to understand and effectively implement SLA.
• Ensuring that Internal Customer and Supplier issues are dealt with in accordance with the escalation process and pushing back when they are not.

Desired Candidate Profile

• German language proficiency of level B2 or above (or equivalent).
• Ability to utilize information from a wide variety of sources.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
• Experience with SAP is an added advantage.
• Knowledge or understanding of accounting terms/commercial background is an added advantage.
