Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft Associate to join the global sales support team in Gurgaon, India. You will analyze customers’ Microsoft licensing environments and draft accurate reconciliation reports for True-Up and annual licensing evaluations with the sales team for end customers.

You will work to understand Microsoft licensing models, ensure profitability, improve the licensing experience for customers, and bridge gaps between the Sales team and clients as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in Sales Support.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience from college or university.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, consultative, and research abilities.
• Should have good Microsoft Licensing knowledge.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• The Microsoft Associate will provide support to our sales teams. They will be responsible for analysing the current license framework of the client and would draft the accurate reconciliation report for True Up for the sales team for the annual evaluation discussion with the end customer.
• Understanding the pricing model of Microsoft Perpetual and Subscription model
• Ensuring profitability while seeking to improve the customer’s licensing experience
• Bridge the gap between Sales team and Client on licensing front (if needed)

The role

Role Overview

Support global sales teams by analysing customers’ existing Microsoft licensing environments and preparing accurate reconciliation reports for True-Up and annual licensing evaluations. They will work in a team that is involved in a wide variety of tasks that will help grow the business and focus on efficiency, accuracy, and speed of processing.
