Job summary

Capgemini in Pune is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll expert to drive payroll solutions and lead client engagements. You will manage end-to-end payroll configurations, integration with SAP FI, and collaboration with ABAP teams to deliver accurate payroll processing.

The role requires strong communication with clients, workshops facilitation, and leadership of junior consultants in a dynamic, global delivery environment.

Qualifications

• 912 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM with strong expertise in SAP Payroll.
• Extensive experience in SAP Payroll configuration, including Wage Types, Schemas, PCRs, Features, and Infotypes.
• Strong knowledge of Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Time Management (TM).
• Experience integrating SAP Payroll with SAP FI and third-party systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops, gather business requirements, and deliver payroll solutions.
• Prepare Functional Specifications and coordinate with technical/ABAP teams.
• Provide production support and resolve payroll-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with statutory payroll regulations and taxation.

Job description

Your Profile - Skills Required :

• 912 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM with strong expertise in SAP Payroll.
• Extensive experience in SAP Payroll configuration, including Wage Types, Schemas, PCRs, Features, and Infotypes.
• Strong knowledge of Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Time Management (TM).Experience in payroll processing, retroactive accounting, off-cycle payroll, payroll reconciliation, and year-end activities.
• Good understanding of statutory compliance, taxation, and payroll regulatory requirements.Experience integrating SAP Payroll with SAP Finance (FI), SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), and third-party systems.
• Hands-on experience in preparing Functional Specifications and coordinating with technical/ABAP teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support skills for payroll-related issues.
• Experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and Employee Central integration is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead workshops, gather business requirements, and deliver payroll solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, client-facing, and communication skills.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior consultants.
• SAP HCM Payroll or SuccessFactors Certification is an added advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project delivery skills.
• Exposure to Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
