Job summary

Highbrow Technology Inc. is seeking a SAP HCM Testing Consultant to join a multi-city India delivery team. 6+ years of hands-on SAP HCM testing experience, with emphasis on Time Management and Payroll, is required.

You will work with functional and technical teams across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and Kolkata to drive high-quality testing deliverables. Proficiency in JIRA/Agile, ABAP reporting testing, and SAP HCM testing terminology is essential.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of hands-on SAP HCM testing experience with Time Management and Payroll modules.
• Experience testing complex PCRs, schema changes, and time/payroll rule changes.
• Hands-on testing of custom ABAP reports/objects in SAP HCM.
• Hands-on with SAP test automation tools (TOSCA or similar) and scripting.
• Experience in SIT cycles and supporting UAT with defect management.

Responsibilities

• Execute SAP HCM testing across Time Management and Payroll areas.
• Participate in SIT cycles and support UAT, including defect tracking and retesting.
• Work with functional/technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Validate retroactive payroll processing implications and testing coverage.

SAP HCM Testing Consultant

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Kolkata

Experience : 6+ Years

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM testing, with strong exposure to Time Management and Payroll modules.


• experience in JIRA, Agile and Delivery


• Demonstrated experience testing complex custom PCRs, schema modifications, and time/payroll rule changes.


• Experience testing custom ABAP reports and objects within an SAP HCM landscape.


• Hands-on experience with test automation tools for SAP (TOSCA or similar); ability to build and maintain automated test scripts independently.


• Solid understanding of retroactive payroll processing and its testing implications.


• Experience executing SIT cycles and supporting UAT, including defect management and retesting.


• Strong understanding of SAP HCM-standard testing terminology (e.g., Positive Functional Test, Retroactive Accounting Check, Personnel Subgroup Variant).


• Excellent communication skills, with ability to work directly with functional, technical, and business teams.

Good to have:

• Experience with S/4HANA HCM landscapes.


• Exposure to Fiori/OData testing.


• Experience testing integrations between SAP HCM and third-party/ServiceNow-type systems.


• Familiarity with collective agreement-driven configuration testing (union/non-union employee groups).


• SAP HCM functional certification.
