Job summary

Highbrow Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Testing Consultant to join a multi-city delivery team in India. The role requires hands-on testing across Time Management, Payroll, and ABAP reporting within SAP HCM landscapes.

You will drive SIT and UAT support, create and maintain automated test scripts, and collaborate with functional, technical, and business stakeholders to ensure quality releases.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of hands-on SAP HCM testing experience focusing on Time Management and Payroll.
• Experience with JIRA, Agile and delivery.
• Testing complex PCRs, schema changes, and time/payroll rule changes.
• Testing ABAP reports and objects within SAP HCM.
• Hands-on test automation with SAP tools (TOSCA or similar).
• Understanding retroactive payroll processing and its testing implications.
• SIT cycles and supporting UAT, including defect management and retesting.
• Familiarity with SAP HCM testing terminology (Positive Functional Test, Retroactive Accounting Check).
• Excellent communication across functional, technical, and business teams.

SAP HCM Testing Consultant

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Kolkata

Experience : 6+ Years

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM testing, with strong exposure to Time Management and Payroll modules.


• experience in JIRA, Agile and Delivery


• Demonstrated experience testing complex custom PCRs, schema modifications, and time/payroll rule changes.


• Experience testing custom ABAP reports and objects within an SAP HCM landscape.


• Hands-on experience with test automation tools for SAP (TOSCA or similar); ability to build and maintain automated test scripts independently.


• Solid understanding of retroactive payroll processing and its testing implications.


• Experience executing SIT cycles and supporting UAT, including defect management and retesting.


• Strong understanding of SAP HCM-standard testing terminology (e.g., Positive Functional Test, Retroactive Accounting Check, Personnel Subgroup Variant).


• Excellent communication skills, with ability to work directly with functional, technical, and business teams.

Good to have:

• Experience with S/4HANA HCM landscapes.


• Exposure to Fiori/OData testing.


• Experience testing integrations between SAP HCM and third-party/ServiceNow-type systems.


• Familiarity with collective agreement-driven configuration testing (union/non-union employee groups).


• SAP HCM functional certification.
